The Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena was a packed house Tuesday night for the concert. “I never really got into music until the Beatles and it doesn’t matter who it is,” said Brandon Barrows of Sidney. “There’s two of them alive. I have this opportunity. I’m never going to regret it. It’s going to be awesome.”
The Southern Tier is one of only 20 stops in the United States for the All Starr Band’s 2018 tour.One mother daughter duo made the trip from Corning for the concert. Both travel together to see their favorite performers together. “She comes and sees them with me and I go see hers,” said Charlette Smith of Corning. “So, but Ringo does really put on a really great performance. It’s always entertaining.”
Fans as far as Massachusetts made sure they could see the band perform.”The Beatles are by far my favorite band,” said Jason Barrows of Massachusetts. “Ringo’s, that’s going to be something that I can tell my kids. Seeing one of the Beatles.”Thousands of fans were able to enjoy the concert for nearly two hours.”You haven’t lived until you’ve seen a Beatle,” said Jojean Smith of Corning.
