The Jimmy Buffett singer-songwriter’s estate released three new songs today and one features Paul McCartney.
Just days after his death, Buffett has dropped three songs: “Like My Dog,” “My Gummie Just Kicked In” and “Bubbles Up.” The tunes are set to be featured on the album Equal Strain on all Parts in early November.
“My Gummie Just Kicked In” feature Paul McCartney. The tune came with a music video that sees Buffett and a host of artists in the studio creating the tune. Included in that bunch is Paul, who at first appears to be dancing along with Buffett and his friends. Paul is then seen later playing a bass.
Following Buffett’s death on September 1, Paul paid tribute and wrote on his social networks: “It seems that so many wonderful people are leaving this world, and now Jimmy Buffett is one of them. I’ve known Jimmy for some time and found him to be one of the kindest and most generous people.”
Also, said that he was “very happy to have played on one of his latest songs.”
