The Beatles’ Abbey Road is one of the bestselling albums that is still present on the Billboard charts. The classic has already sold more than 6.2 million copies in the U.S. alone since its release in 1969.
Abbey Road is on the rise on every ranking it appears on in the U.S. at the moment. The blockbuster climbs on five different tallies, thanks largely to a sizable uptick in purchases. In the past tracking period, Abbey Road was purchased by 7,750 Americans.
Abbey Road moved nearly 11,900 equivalent units last week. That’s a growth of almost 22% from the frame before, when it didn’t quite manage 10,000 units.
Abbey Road leaps more than 30 spaces on the Billboard 200, to settle at No. 148. It’s also up significantly on the Top Album Sales chart, where it pushes from No. 40 to No. 30.
The same project also lifts on three other rankings: Abbey Road ascends on the Vinyl Albums (No. 19), Top Rock & Alternative Albums (No. 29), and Top Rock Albums (No. 22) charts simultaneously.
Abbey Road it’s only about a month away from hitting 500 weeks on the Billboard 200.
