The Mass Music & Arts Society will hold its annual fundraising gala Friday, March 29, with auction items including a bass guitar signed by Paul McCartney.

The event will be held at the Lake View Pavilion in Foxboro and raise funds for MMAS arts programs including theater productions, gallery exhibits, and the MMAS Academy. It will include a silent auction, raffles and a live auction that features a vacation getaway, sports tickets, and memorabilia.
Along with the guitar signed by Paul,items up for bid will include football helmets autographed by 12 Patriots and sheet music signed by Neil Diamond, MMAS Executive Director Ken Butler said.

Some items are up for advance bidding online. The highest bid received will be the opening bid the night of the gala, but “that high bidder will have the opportunity to keep bidding — even if they are not attending the event,” Butler said. MMAS hopes to raise $75,000 at this year’s gala.
