Julian Lennon recently disclosed his diagnosis of coronary heart disease and pre-diabetes, using an Instagram post to urge his followers to take care of themselves.

This comes after a history of health scares; in February 2020, he had a lifelong mole removed from his head when a biopsy showed it was malignant, leading him to comment on Facebook that life is simply too brief.

Additionally, two years after that incident, he shared during an interview on the Joe Rogan Experience that he had undergone another biopsy, this time on his arm.

In an Instagram post, he implored fans “to get checked out sooner rather than later. You never know what hidden health issues you may have, Even with these ailments, I’ve managed to catch them early enough to be able to reverse some of the damage and will hopefully be able to live a healthy long life.” Julian concluded the post by thanking the doctors who aided him in the process.
