Paul and Nancy were both spotted at the march sporting T-shirts that read “We can end gun violence.”

Paul tried to imagine a world without gun violence — while standing just steps away from the spot where his former band mate John Lennon was murdered.

Paul, was joined by his wife Nancy Shevell on Saturday during the March for Our Lives on Manhattan’s Upper West Side when spoke off-camera to CNN’s Jason Caroll.
“One of my best friends was shot not far from where we are right now,” he said, according to Deadline.

The New York City protest was held at 72nd Street between Columbus Avenue and Central Park West. The location is quite close to The Dakota building, at 1 West 72nd Street, where John lived and was gunned down on Dec. 8, 1980.
NYC’s March for Our Lives was also taking place near the Strawberry Fields memorial in Central Park dedicated to Lennon, which was created by his widow Yoko Ono and landscape architect Bruce Kelly.
