Paul McCartney was recently seen attending an Oasis concert in Pasadena, California, on Saturday, September 6, 2025.
The North American leg of the Oasis Live ‘25 tour rolled into the Rose Bowl Stadium for the first of two sold-out shows last night (September 6), with a host of famous faces, including Vince Vaughn, Leonardo DiCaprio, Salma Hayek, Kristen Stewart, Metallica‘s James Hetfield, Finneas, Eilish and Paul McCartney in attendance.
Footage on social media showed Paul thoroughly enjoying the performance. He was seen filming Noel Gallagher during “Little By Little” and was the only person in his section to remain standing for the entire song.
When fans caught up with him after the show, they asked for his opinion, and he simply called the concert “Fabulous.”
The reunion itself has a funny backstory with Paul. Back in 2015, Noel Gallagher joked that an Oasis reunion would be on the table if McCartney wrote their comeback single.
That same year, Noel retracted his earlier boast to MTV that Oasis was bigger than The Beatles—a comment McCartney once labeled as the biggest mistake of their career.
“So many people have said that, and it’s the kiss of death,” McCartney said at the time, advising others to “be bigger than The Beatles, but don’t say it.”
Both Gallagher brothers have immense respect for McCartney. Liam once shared a memorable and humorous story with NME about a time he met the legendary musician.
“He’s been absolutely a dream,” Liam said. He recalled a conversation at the Royal Albert Hall where McCartney offered him a “margarita.”
Liam, thinking it was a dish, replied that he didn’t eat late at night. Paul laughed and clarified, “They’re fuc*ing drinks, you st**id **ck,” which made Liam realize his mistake.
