Tennants Auctioneers is set to host an auction on July 22 featuring a highly sought-after piece of music history: a concert ticket autographed by The Beatles.

The item carries a fascinating backstory, as the original owner managed to secure the signatures of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr immediately following the show. Kegan Harrison, a specialist at the auction house, noted that memorabilia linked to the Fab Four continues to enjoy immense popularity. He highlighted the significance of the item’s strong provenance, noting that the seller was a firsthand witness to the signing.

Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Frasers Autographs, the lot is currently estimated to fetch between £2,000 and £3,000, though some market experts believe competitive bidding could push the final price even higher, potentially reaching the £5,000 range.

This specific ticket was for their performance at the Grosvenor, located on Prince of Wales Road in Norwich, which took place on May 17, 1963—a time when the band was at the absolute peak of “Beatlemania.”
