Dark Horse Records will be taking over the 6th floor of タワーレコード / Tower Records Japan Shibuya in Tokyo, Japan from Tuesday October 20 to Monday October 26 with a very special “Dark Horse Records Japan Collection”.

This limited time pop-up will feature newly packaged Japanese EXCLUSIVE George Harrison and Harrison-related titles, special titles from other Dark Horse Records artists & back catalog, exclusive merch and more.

This Japan-exclusive project features 13 titles from George Harrison and the Traveling Wilburys that have been newly remastered and will be released in a limited SHM-CD paper- sleeve (mini-LP) edition.

In addition, three of George’s landmark albums — All Things Must Pass, Living in the Material World and Cloud Nine — will be released simultaneously on the super-high-end “100% Pure LP” vinyl format that has been attracting attention both in Japan and abroad. Customers who purchase eligible titles in-store will receive an original Dark Horse Records Japan Collection campaign sticker on a first-come, first-served basis.

To commemorate this collaboration, special T-shirts produced by GEEKS RULE will also be available as part of the event and sold exclusively on the 6th floor of Tower Records Shibuya. The collection features four designs in total: two utilizing the art from the album “All Things Must Pass”, one featuring the artwork for the hit single “Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth),” & an exclusive Dark Horse Records colorway. Each shirt is created using a unique color-separation printing technique, resulting in a finish that develops a vintage-style patina the more it is worn.
