Dragonflies—the UK rock outfit established by Dhani Harrison and Nigel Godrich—dropped their premier full-length record on September 18, 2026, through Dark Horse Records and BMG.
This alliance pairs Harrison (offspring of George Harrison, recognized for thenewno2 and Fistful of Mercy) with sonic architect Nigel Godrich (celebrated for shaping records by Radiohead, Beck, IDLES, Atoms for Peace, and Ultraísta).
The band members are Dhani Harrison – guitar, vocals, Nigel Godrich – bass, Joey Waronker – percussion, Nick Valensi – guitar, Maurice Talbot – keyboards.
The self-titled debut album by the duo Dragonflies, featuring Dhani Harrison and producer Nigel Godrich, was released on September 18, 2026, via Dark Horse Records/BMG. The project was born out of casual sessions and experimentation in Godrich’s Brixton studio, following their collaboration on Harrison’s 2023 solo album. The first preview track was the album opener “Slower,” accompanied by an animated music video directed by RUFFMERCY. They subsequently released the single “Setting Sun.”
