During the sixteenth day of the Get Back sessions, the group worked without Billy Preston, directing their energy toward three specific tracks—”Two of Us,” “Let It Be,” – ‘Let It Be’ had Paul on piano and John on bass guitar, –  and “For You Blue”—none of which were intended for their upcoming live performance.

George Harrison’s “For You Blue” received significant attention, with the band running through 28 iterations until they achieved a polished studio version; in fact, one of these specific performances was ultimately selected for the final album.

In addition to that track, two other George compositions surfaced during the rehearsals: “Isn’t It a Pity” was introduced for the first time, though it would eventually be reserved for his solo masterpiece All Things Must Pass, while “Window, Window” was revisited with Paul McCartney taking the lead, despite it remaining unreleased throughout George’s life.

Meanwhile, as the session progressed, Paul and the film production team scouted the Apple Corps rooftop to finalize logistics for the historic concert scheduled just five days later.
