Paul McCartney performed a second surprise New York gig last night at The Bowery Ballroom. A lucky crowd of 600 witnessed 90-minute set spanning 60 years of hits. Tickets cost just $50.

Anne Hathaway, Cara Delevingne, Emma Stone and Tom Hanks were in attendance at the surprise show on Wednesday night. It was two hours of music from The Beatles, Wings, and Paul’s solo career.

There was only one change from the setlist of the first performance: The song “Flaming Pie” was included. He hadn’t played it since his soundcheck on December 18th of last year at the 02 Arena in London, as part of his recent “Got Back” tour.

Announcing the news on Instagram, Paul confirmed that the gig has taken place at Bowery Ballroom, with doors opening at 5pm and the show starting at 6.30pm.

Paul, who was spotted Sunday at the Super Bowl in New Orleans chatting with Adam Sandler, was in New York for the upcoming “Saturday Night Live” 50th anniversary festivities. He’s to be a guest on the star-studded television special Sunday.
