Paul McCartney made a revelation about his highly anticipated animated project.

Paul shared on his social media the excitement he feels about Céline Dion’s impressive reappearance in Paris, expressing the immense love the public has for her. But that’s not all: he officially confirmed that Céline is part of the cast for the animated film High In The Clouds.

Here is the message Paul shared:

“It’s been so great to see the amazing reaction to Céline’s comeback in Paris. There’s so much love out there for her. I’m so excited that’s she’s part of our ‘High In The Clouds’ film. I’ve just been listening to some of her parts and I’m blown away by it. Wow what a talent. We are very lucky to have her as part of the team. Can’t wait to share it with the world. – Paul ☁️”

What is this project about?

A long-held dream: High In The Clouds is based on the children’s book written by Paul McCartney himself, alongside Geoff Dunbar and Philip Ardagh.

The movie will feature songs and vocal performances where Paul and Céline cross creative paths.

The plot follows Wirral, a young squirrel who accidentally causes chaos with Gretsch, a tyrannical owl who has banned music in her city.

Paul composed original songs and served as a producer alongside Netflix, Gaumont Animation, and Seven Bytes Media.

The film was directed by Toby Genkel, with a screenplay written by Jon Croker (Paddington 2). After undergoing restructuring and production delays, the film is expected to be released by late 2026.
