Ringo Starr has just published an announcement on his official social media accounts for his fans in New Jersey. His highly anticipated concert with the All-Starr Band, scheduled for this Sunday, September 27 (today) at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, has been officially canceled.

The decision was made following the worsening of meteorological conditions in the area. Although venue organizers initially monitored the weather hoping to move forward, persistent heavy rainfall and severe weather alerts ultimately forced authorities and management to intervene.

In a message directed to his followers, Ringo explained that due to the heavy downpours, the decision was made to prioritize safety and keep attendees from getting soaked.

“What’s happening, it’s a lot of bad weather around, and the government thought it’d be better if we didn’t cause any trouble and the fans wouldn’t get wet,” Ringo shared.

Ticketing platforms have confirmed that automatic refunds will be issued for those who purchased through Ticketmaster, while third-party buyers must contact their original point of purchase.

Fans responded with peace and love, keeping hope alive for a future rescheduling of Ringo.
