Ringo Starr is gearing up for the April launch of his latest studio effort,Long Long Road. Marking his 22nd venture as a solo artist, the legendary drummer has already offered a glimpse into the project with the lead single, “It’s Been Too Long.” Following the sonic footsteps of his 2025 release Look Up, this upcoming collection leans heavily into country influences—a direction further solidified by the involvement of esteemed producer T Bone Burnett.

Reflecting on their ongoing creative partnership, Ringo expressed immense gratitude for Burnett’s influence, noting that this new record felt like a natural evolution from their previous work. He described the collaboration as a “right move” in his career, choosing the title Long Long Roadas a tribute to his own extensive journey through life and music:

“I’m blessed to have T Bone in my life right now and working with me on these records. After we did the last record, which I love listening to, this one just sort of happened. I like to say sometimes I make the right moves, like you can go left or right at any point, and one of the right moves was hooking up with T Bone for ‘Look Up’, and now for this one, which I’m calling ‘Long Long Road‘, because I’ve been on a long long road.”

The album is officially scheduled for release on Friday, April 24, and fans can expect a North American tour this summer to support the launch.
