Paul McCartney held a global pre-listening event for his autobiographical album, The Boys of Dungeon Lane, at The Jacaranda (Slater Street, Liverpool) on Friday, May 22, 2026.

The legendary Beatles venue was temporarily renamed “The Maccaranda” for this special occasion. Paul McCartney chose the iconic bar where he used to rehearse and socialize with The Beatles before leaving for Hamburg.

While prior listening sessions had taken place in Los Angeles and Abbey Road Studios, those were strictly invite-only; Friday’s event marked the first opportunity for the general public to experience the entire new record.
