Summer will bring the unprecedented four-part cinematic exploration of the Beatles to London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios, as indicated by a recent production register. Production documents reveal that the exterior shoot and front courtyard coordination with the Westminster City Council will feature approximately 80 extras alongside classic automobiles.

Although interior filming remains unconfirmed, the site holds monumental weight for music history. Naturally, this has sparked strong rumors regarding a possible recreation of the world-famous final album cover at the pedestrian crosswalk.

Hitting theaters in April 2028, this ambitious interconnected series will dedicate a standalone feature film to the perspective of each band member.

Screenwriters Jez Butterworth, Peter Straughan, and Jack Thorne are in charge of writing the scripts for this massive cinematic project.

Mendes is deeply committed to honoring their sacred musical roots, which is why the production is attempting to capture the genuine texture of 1960s London.
