Apple Corps Ltd, the historic multimedia company established by The Beatles in 1968 to manage their iconic music catalog and commercial interests, is set to relocate to its original home at 3 Savile Row in Mayfair by 2027.

The move marks a triumphant return to the site of one of rock history’s most celebrated moments: the rooftop where John, Paul, George, and Ringo delivered their final public live performance on January 30, 1969. Reflecting on the relocation, Ringo Starr shared that stepping back into the building feels “like coming home.“

For the past thirty years, Apple Corps operated out of 27 Ovington Square in Knightsbridge. Now, this six-story property is officially up for sale. The building features an intriguing layout, combining commercial space with residential quarters on its third and fourth floors.

Representing the sale is the high-end real estate agency Noble Harris, which highlighted the listing as a rare opportunity to own a piece of cultural history. While comparable properties along Ovington Square typically command prices between £5 million and £7 million, industry experts expect this particular site to fetch a premium owing to its unique rock-and-roll heritage.

According to Noble Harris, the sellers are prioritizing finding a purchaser who appreciates the building’s rich background, stating, “Our clients wish to pass the legacy of the property to the right candidate.”

While 27 Ovington Square stands as Apple Corps’ longest-tenured headquarters, company chief executive Tom Greene noted that moving back to 3 Savile Row reconnects the business with the band’s true “spiritual home.”

In a historic first, the Mayfair location will open its doors to the public for a major upcoming exhibition titled The Beatles. The event will span all seven floors of the building, offering visitors unprecedented access to Apple Corps’ vast historical archives.

“Every single day, fans are taking pictures of the outside of 3 Savile Row — but next year they can go in and explore all seven floors of the iconic building, including the rooftop where even the railings remain the same from that famous day in 1969,” said Greene.
